Conqueror Christ
This sermon proclaims Christ’s resurrection as the decisive victory over Satan, sin, and death. In His triumph, we find freedom, assurance, and eternal hope. Let us behold the risen King who reigns, restores, and will return.
Our Risen Conqueror
The resurrection of Christ is not merely a historical fact—it is the central declaration of the Christian faith: Christ has triumphed! The grave could not hold Him, and all enemies—spiritual, moral, and mortal—have fallen before Him.
Victory Over Satan
Scripture shows us Satan’s relentless opposition to God’s people, yet Christ's resurrection marks his decisive defeat. Revelation 12 and Colossians 2 make clear: the cross disarmed principalities. Christ’s victory was cosmic, crushing the serpent's head as prophesied in Genesis.
Victory Over Sin
In Christ’s sinless life and sacrificial death, sin’s penalty was paid. But in the resurrection, its power was broken. As Romans 6 affirms, we are no longer enslaved to sin. Through Christ, we walk in newness of life—justified and sanctified.
Victory Over Death
Death, the final enemy, is swallowed in victory. Isaiah 25 and 1 Corinthians 15 shout of the resurrection’s eternal implications. No sting remains for those in Christ. His bodily resurrection guarantees ours—and ushers in the hope of the new creation.
