Training and Resources

Important Note: Just as with all preachers and authors, it's essential to acknowledge that we, as humans, are all tainted by sin. While we may appreciate various resources and authors, it's crucial to remember that the only infallible source we can fully trust in all matters of faith and doctrine is the Bible—God's own written word. Therefore, while exploring the resources and insights provided, it's vital to filter everything through the lens of Scripture. In the spirit of the Bereans (Acts 17:11), let's diligently search the Scriptures to verify and align with God's truth.

Prayer and Fasting

Prayer and Fasting are essential spiritual disciplines in the Christian faith, offering believers a means to draw closer to God and seek His will. Prayer is the practice of communicating with God, expressing adoration, confession, thanksgiving, and supplication. It is through prayer that believers align their hearts with God's purposes, seeking guidance and strength for daily living. Fasting, on the other hand, is the voluntary abstention from food (or other comforts) for a period of time to devote oneself more fully to prayer and spiritual reflection. This practice is seen throughout Scripture as a way to humble oneself before God, seek repentance, and intercede for others.

By engaging in prayer and fasting, believers can experience a profound spiritual renewal, growing in their relationship with God and gaining a clearer understanding of His will. These disciplines remind us of our dependence on God and help us cultivate a life centered on His presence and purpose.
