Ministry Partnerships

Carlton Oaks Baptist Church is deeply committed to advancing the Gospel both locally and globally. As a part of the Southern Baptist Convention, we actively participate in the Cooperative Program, which supports evangelism and relief efforts through the North American Mission Board and the International Mission Board. Beyond this, we collaborate with other local and international ministries to share God’s love and truth with those in need. We invite you to join us in fulfilling God's mission through His Church to the world.

Michael and Jordan Seehusen

We are grateful to have committed to a long-term support relationship with the Seehusen family as they continue on their ministry in Fiji. Their mission is to work alongside the faithful believers currently serving the Lord within local churches and the College of Theology and Evangelism, Fiji (CTEF). Together, they will focus on strengthening the churches across the region. Michael’s primary role will be to establish a robust Biblical Counseling training program within CTEF, which will equip both students and pastors to counsel and shepherd their congregations more effectively. Through this partnership, we pray for lasting spiritual growth and the flourishing of the Fijian churches for the glory of God.

Our Missional and Benevolent Support: As a church committed to the Great Commission, we joyfully support key mission efforts that extend the reach of the Gospel both locally and globally. Through our partnership with the California Southern Baptist Convention, we help strengthen churches across the state in their mission to impact communities for Christ. The California Mission Offering furthers this work by funding church plants, disaster relief, and outreach to migrant communities. Nationally, the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering sustains thousands of missionaries serving across North America. Globally, the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering advances international missions, ensuring the Gospel reaches the ends of the earth. Through these efforts, we steward our resources for Kingdom work, sharing Christ’s love in tangible ways.

The Derbyshire Family: Carlton Oaks Baptist is beginning a new missionary relationship with the Derbyshire family, who are serving in Thailand. Jonathan and Bethany Derbyshire, both passionate about reaching the nations, will be equipping and discipling students in Thailand to spread the gospel across Asia. Their journey began with Jonathan’s calling through an IMB program and Bethany’s early heart for missions. The couple, along with their children, Micah (MJ) and Roman, were sent out by Pillar Church in Washington, D.C. COBC's new partnership with them represents a commitment to supporting their work in mobilizing national students for global missions.
