Introduction
About Carlton Oaks Baptist Church
At Carlton Oaks, our purpose is to Worship God, Grow in Christ, and Serve the World. These three biblical principles guide all we do, rooted in the Greatest Commandment to love God and love our neighbor (Matthew 22:37-39)
Worship God: We are dedicated to glorifying God by letting the word of Christ richly dwell within us and living for the praise of His glory, spreading the gospel and fostering deep spiritual growth.(Colossians 3:16, Ephesians 1:12)
Grow in Christ: Our commitment is to mature in Christ, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ, equipping the saints for church planting and global missions.(Colossians 1:28, Ephesians 4:12-13)
Serve the World: We are driven to serve the world by making disciples of all nations and extending God's mercy, loving our enemies, and doing good, reflecting God's love to all people. (Matthew 28:19, Luke 6:35-36)
Our primary focus is on making disciples of Christ, while our broader vision includes supporting church plants and missions. Our fervent passion is dedicated to loving both God and people.
This mission defines us, driving our actions and endeavors as we seek to honor God through spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are committed to leading others to salvation and fostering spiritual growth within our church community.
Our commitment is rooted in fulfilling the Great Commission entrusted to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ: "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you" (Matthew 28:19-20), and adhering to the Greatest Commandment to love God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-39).
